Colorado State will now open the season at 2 p.m. on Saturday vs. Northwestern, and that game has now been designated the White Out match.
"It is disappointing that we cannot play this match due to complications within the opposing roster," said Director of Athletics Joe Parker. "The health and safety of our student-athletes and staff will always be a top priority, and this night had all the makings of being a celebration for our program and our fans. Our student-athletes and staff worked tremendously hard this summer for this moment, and we will do everything we can to make the White Out match vs. Northwestern as special as this one would have been."
Fans who had tickets and parking to tonight's game will have the following options and credits on their accounts:
- Season ticket partners will automatically be sent additional general admission tickets and parking (if applicable) for tomorrow's White Out match. These tickets and parking (if applicable) are in addition to the reserved season tickets that season ticket partners already have. Mobile tickets and parking (if applicable) will automatically be sent to your account on file.
- For fans who had single-match tickets and parking for tonight's game, they will automatically be credited tickets for tomorrow's White Out match vs. Northwestern. Mobile tickets and/or parking will automatically be sent. Seat locations may vary.
- All fans (season ticket partners and single-match fans) will also have the opportunity to exchange their tickets and parking (if applicable) for a future home Volleyball match or Women's Basketball game of their choice. The Rams Ticket Office will provide exchange instructions at a later date.
As was originally scheduled for tonight, the first 1,500 students to arrive at Moby Arena tomorrow for the White Out match will receive a free White Out t-shirt compliments of Canvas Credit Union.
