Team USA has a commanding lead (11-5) heading into the singles matches on Day 3. On Friday, Team USA went 3-1 and 3-1, then went 3-1 and 2-2 on Saturday.
The United States just need 3.5 points to secure the Ryder Cup trophy and capture only their third Ryder Cup in the last 20 years. After winning at Hazeltine in 2016, it would also be the first back-to-back home victory for Team USA since 1979 and 1983.
Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa remain undefeated heading into Sunday’s single matches, while Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia are undefeated for Team Europe.
Team USA is hoping Team Europe doesn’t have a miraculous Day 3 like they did in 2012 at Medinah, when Europe was down heading into the singles matches, but were able to walk away with a win.

3:33 p.m. — With an eagle, Rahm stays in the match on Hole 14 as Scheffler's lead goes down to 3UP. Rahm cannot afford for Scheffler to win another hole.
3:31 p.m. — Cantlay scores a birdie to go 3UP with three to win. He needs to win one more hole for a point.
3:24 p.m. — Thomas extends his lead to 3UP over Hatton on Hole 8.
3:23 p.m. — McIlroy has a short putt chance to win the match on Hole 15, but misses as he hits the edge of the hole. He ends the hole with a bogey to tie as they head to the 16th.
3:18 p.m. — Spieth wins Hole 6 to go 2UP. In his history of team play, Spieth has yet to win a singles match.
3:14 p.m. — Finau and Poulter are now tied after Finau wins Hole 8.
3:09 p.m. — English takes his first lead of the day going 1UP on Westwood on Hole 6. This was the last remaining tie since now Team USA leads nine matches and Team Europe leads three.

12:04 p.m. — The final day of the 43rd Ryder Cup is off as Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele tee off. McIlroy has yet to win a round this year, while Schauffele remains undefeated. Both drives nearly make it to the green.
