First-year fullback Kadin Chung, who came out of the March 19 match against D.C. United with a sore hamstring, is back training this week and is available for Saturday’s match at Real Salt Lake.
On the other hand, fullback Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty is out after undergoing a procedure on his knee last Friday. There is no time line on his return. Forward Ayo Akinola also is still not ready to play. The 22-year-old Brampton native had knee surgery last summer.
“Ayo’s still some days away,” TFC coach Bob Bradley said.
Bradley said that midfielder Ralph Priso is questionable for Saturday’s match.
“He’s got a little something going on in his calf. Something that’s kept him out of training a little bit,” Bradley said.
