If you thought connecting with a Tinder match was as easy as swiping right, one Canadian user said her match sent her a “dating application” to fill out.

Elizabeth Rowlands posted a video on TikTok showing a lengthy questionnaire a man sent her before he even bothered to exchange pleasantries.
In the video, which plays to the tune of Britney Spears’ Toxic, Rowlands scrolls through the questions her match sent her via a Google Forms link in a direct message.
At first, the questions seem like standard dating queries. But things took a weird turn when he started probing about her pop culture taste and tech knowledge.
“Which LoTR movie is (in your opinion) the best one?” he asked, letting her pick either The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers or The Return of the King.
He then wanted to know what her favourite Justin Bieber song is, adding, “why isn’t it Sorry?”
And clearly not a Friends fan, the man asks her what TV character she identifies with the most, telling her that it’s “-100,000 points if you say someone from Friends and I’ll probably unmatch you.”
He also asks her to explain blockchain before wrapping it up by wondering if she had any skills worth noting and how she felt about filling in the “application form.”
“I can’t make this up,” Rowlands captioned the viral video, which was posted on Feb. 22.
